Rocco Fortunato is known through out South Texas as a drummer with precision timing. This becomes evident if you watch the “human metronome” nod his head for every beat. Not only is he a great musician, but he owns and operates Cavalry Studios in Brackettville, Texas, producing numerous albums for various artists.

Raised in a home where a piano was more important than their dining room table, Rocco was brought up to appreciate music. Following his father’s footsteps, and having a choir teacher for a mother, Rocco became musically inclined at a young age and sang in the school choir as long as he could remember.

He has pursued his music career ever since playing for numerous bands like Billy Mata & Texas Tradition. Playing any rhythm from Texas Swing to Southern Rock, he is capable of anything you can throw his way.
