The Texas TNT

When contacted to entertain, in most cases, Taylor’s band the Texas TNT consists of five members. Taylor plays guitar and sings the lead vocals. Darrell Zimmerman plays the bass and sings backup vocals along with Rocco Fortunato on the drums. Ken Garrett, on steel, and Red Hampton, on fiddle, also lend a hand singing a song or two every now and then.

At times when his “regulars” are busy with other commitments, Taylor calls his brother Lawton Langford and Jim Gerrish to give him a hand. On occasion, when financially possible and schedules permit, Taylor calls on Carl Negley, Rex McNiel and Bruce O’Neal from San Antonio, Texas, to join them.
